In 2014 (?) I saw Lauryn Hill at Brooklyn Bowl and she was like 1hr 45m late and then just played all night. Like all night, she just kept going. 3hrs. It was incredible. She said she just felt like singing and didn't want to stop.

Am I the only one that feels like live performances lost their magic?

Set times are rigid. Venues are mega theatres. Tickets are a million dollars.

The Live Nationification of live shows is pretty brutal but small clubs and pre-famous bands playing their heart out still exists!
