there doesn't have to be an alternative — it might as well not exist at all the fact that there is no non-hierarchical alternative that works doesn't say anything about whether holacracy works or not

Perhaps I asked the wrong question. I suppose I'm curious about what management frameworks people have seen work effectively for DAOs (especially focused on the long-term).

here's what works: strong and involved leadership :))) everything else is a derivative of it usually it's 1-5 people spearheading the product the best case study is linux
