Since I have noticed that a lot of Warpcast didn't come up through a chronically terminally online upbringing (back in my day we didn't have a name for it, it was too new) I feel a certain duty to help the social graphs immune system since people are starting to get wise to bait being a great way to hack engagement.

First things first, if a post makes you feel emotions ALWAYS GUT CHECK. Just ask yourself, is this bait trying to get me to engage? Good primer how this works more broadly by Peach in the embed. He takes a "corporations bad" form of messaging but it gets the point across.

Luckily most Farcasters are acting in good faith and that is what makes this corner of the internet still feel "cozy", people are here to genuinely talk. As the network grows we WILL repeat everything that has happened to every other network, and we have seen this happen a few times, CT migration etc, but nothing crazy yet, but growth changes the incentives.
