does stoicism appeal to you as a woman? 

i often see men posting about it or engaging with it more than women, but have never taken the time (yet) to reflect on why that may be.

Not a woman... so can't answer... but my sense is that the modern version of stoicism (including the extremely powerful Serenity Prayer) could be valuable for anyone. My daughter and are listening to "The Obstacle is the Way" by Ryan Holiday and some of the points really resonated with her.
