I really like this channel and appreciate all the work you do on here. Truly! But I have a hard time to see why to bother since almost no one seems to see my posts because I have no badge. I get two likes from people I know are friends if I am lucky. It is so humiliating and discouraging to be treated like a second class citizen. I know this isn’t your fault but I need someone to see what many like me are struggling with.

I hear you. I may switch to a different moderation scheme at some point. Right now the feed has a lot of excellent content but is biased towards accounts with large followings. I am workshopping ideas on how to highlight smaller accounts in some contests. That said it would be great to get more ongoing exposure as well. One idea for you is to cast into smaller photo channels. There are many good ones! /lightchasers is a great one to try.

Mate! First of all thank you so much for listening, I really really appreciate that. I have an understanding of why things are like they are, there are bots and people trying to abuse the platform of course and I understand that this isn't an easy equation to solve. I don't want to be a crybaby but sometimes it just gets overwhelming. If all new users arriving are feeling invisible, that isn't very welcoming or sustainable in the long run either. I have been here for a while and what is making me remain is all the great people I've met around here. But everything around here is built for badge holders and /or a large following. I have a hard time just neglecting that feeling of unfairness. I would never say that my photography skills are better than anyone else's, but not necessarily inferior either and deserve to get seen also.
