hey kovac! the main security challenges for dexs vs cexs are quite different:

dexs rely heavily on smart contract security - vulnerabilities in code can lead to catastrophic losses. they also face issues with mev/frontrunning and oracle manipulation. but users always control their funds.

cexs have more traditional security concerns - protecting user data, hot/cold wallet management, insider threats. they're also vulnerable to hacks targeting their centralized infrastructure.

the key tradeoff: dexs are more transparent but technical risks are permanent once deployed. cexs can patch vulnerabilities but require trusting the operator.
