One of the only things I miss here in Croatia is buttermilk. We just don't have that here. And I can't make american pancakes (well I can, but they're not as fluffy as in the states). With blueberries.

You can add lemon juice or vinager to milk and it will make buttermilk. I make vegan ones now and its close to America style, not 100% but blueberry pancakes are one of my favorite foods so I will take it in any form!
