A decent way to measure your "conviction alts" right now is to check their performance relative to $ETH, rather than relative to USD. Since they're all paired with $ETH, the litmus test becomes "did they outperform $ETH". Below is @0x52basedpepe (up 76% from their $ETH bottom) & $IMGN (up 17% from deployment). USD valuations will ofc continue to track $ETH's price action - but generally speaking, tokens which put in strong performance relative to $ETH tend to do extremely well once $ETH starts moving back up.

this is interesting. probably good liquidity management? I noticed that all clankers, for example, are crushing hard relative to eth

Yeah, decent liquidity management and not-scam-MMs help massively in these cases. Clankers are all in full range liquidity, so they tend to get hurt pretty bad when ETH starts moving down.
