A key similarity between many unstable systems in science and nature is the pace at which instability develops – slowly at first, then faster and faster, until it reaches its extreme. Destabilized markets follow the same pattern. Parabolic price movements in a reflexive environment are consistent with increasing instability of fundamentals.
