I’m bullish on onchain social with the potential to drive virality, and zora is a great example of that (download the app if you haven't). on traditional social media platforms, centralized organizations maintain control over content and users. with onchain social, creators maintain ownership over their content and have the opportunity to earn income (not just likes) when they post. posts on zora are automatically coined, and creators earn a percentage of trading fees. by doing this, onchain social flips the script and puts control back into the hands of creators. over the last week or so, I’ve seen firsthand how this has the potential to bring new people into the space. you don’t need to know anything about crypto to use zora or to earn on your posts, and I think we need more apps like that to bring a billion people onchain. excited to see what other builders cook in this space!
