I can't know for sure 2 reasons why it's possible wiki description: The magpie-lark was originally described by the English ornithologist John Latham in the genus Corvus in 1801 (as Corvus cyanoleucus). Its species name is derived from the Ancient Greek words cyanos "dark blue" and leukos "white" despite the black and white plumage. However, there can be a bluish sheen to the black back. 2 photos give bluish tint one is from rewild perth the other is stock photo

i even loaded above photo into ps & the color picker shows feather color as a definite blue but maybe it reads differently depending on light irl @ismene or monitor / the bird is also neither a magpie nor a lark hahaha
