It seems, we need a tipping system or a dedicated mechanism within the artists' community—something exclusively owned by the artists themselves.

It is completely unacceptable for artists to suffer from sudden project decisions! Art is valuable, and we strive to preserve its worth.

$RARE did not start out as a tipping token. It was initially airdropped to users of the platform back in the summer of 2021. It's first purpose was to allow people to vote in various ways pertaining to the direction of the SuperRare platform. Warpcast was not on the radar at that point.

Yes i remember.
but summer 2021 is a long time ago and its arrival here made a huge difference in its use.

Actually the lesson that emerged, and that we aught to take heed of,  was that people could simply buy lots of the token to be able to tip votes in their favour. They would then sell off the token after they had voted.
