AI uses 3% of global power by 2030? Good. It’s our only shot at breakthroughs in tech we’ll need to survive like fusion. Every year AI pulls tech closer closer it wipes gigatonnes of CO₂ permanently off our ledger. Opposing AI isn’t activism, it’s environmental suicide.

Had a similar thought after seeing a story on IG about this. If people really want to reduce demand that every country in the world stop producing, selling and buying weapons and dismantle their armies. The environmental not to mention humanitarian impact far outweighs that of AI.
