MAKE A GIRL Anime Movie Theme Song Music Video Streamed KADOKAWA's official anime YouTube channel is now streaming a special video featuring "Hanaboshi" (translated to "Star of the Flowers") performed by singer-songwriter Eve. The song was produced as the theme song for independent anime creator Gensho Yasuda's first anime feature film project, MAKE A GIRL. Yasuda himself also served as the director of this music video, which is a mash-up of footage from the film, including exclusive scenes added just for this.https://youtu.be/T96pY_Ul0s0

Clevatess TV Anime Confirms July 2025 Premiere Humanity's last hope is entrusted with a baby. The anime adaptation of Yuji Iwahara’s whimsical manga Clevatess revealed tonight that the series will premiere in July 2025. Alongside the announcement, the first episodic visual was released showing said baby being born.

Composer, Arranger Hiroshi Shinkawa Dies The official X/Twitter account for composer and arranger Hiroshi Shinkawa posted a message from his wife on Friday revealing that Shinkawa died on January 8 of ischemic heart failure. He was 69. Shinkawa's funeral was limited to close relatives and was held on Friday. Shinkawa was born on July 26, 1955 in Tokyo. He was the music director for the Hi Fi Set backing band and for singer and songwriter Yumi Matsutōya, and later made a career as a composer and arranger in the early 1980s.

You and Idol Precure Anime Gets Film This Fall Toei revealed during its 2025-2026 lineup press conference on Thursday that You and Idol Precure♪ (Kimi to Idol Precure♪), the 22nd main anime entry in the Precure franchise, will get a film adaptation this fall, tentatively titled Eiga Kimi to Idol Precure♪ (You and Idol Precure♪ the Movie). The You and Idol Precure♪ television anime will premiere on ABC TV, TV Asahi, and 22 other affiliated channels throughout Japan on February 2 at 8:30 a.m. (February 1 at 6:30 p.m. EST). It will also run on Broadcasting System of San-in, as well as on the TVer service and various streaming services.
