Block Explorer

It's so weird that @vitalik.eth and the EF do a lot to reduce centralization and trustedness at every level of the tech and social stack, yet they fail to even properly acknowledge the centralization and trustedness of the block explorer monopoly.

We've been talking with ecosystems outside Ethereum and they LOVE to not have a monopoly, and act when they see one.

This is so bearish for Ethereum, mainly because the block explorer is the only one: there's the oracle for sure, and maybe others that I don't even know anything of.

They never did ANYTHING, they even did way worse by endorsing the provider as 'the name' for block explorers.

I can't believe they don't realise how much an issue this is.
