Great piece by jack here on rollups calling for a focus on driving mainstream adoption by building good (d)apps that people want to use, "while minimising speculation which adds inefficiency to the system."

well, i'd say that AI agents and memecoin generators are generally adding more inefficiencies in the short term, but they may create synergies for the long term: a memecoin can be and have its own culture, and be a community, tokenized.

so net value added should be positive: inefficiency for now, but new use case for the future.
