People who invest in cryptocurrencies often experience a psychological phenomenon: when prices rise, they believe it will continue to rise and are unwilling to sell to take profits; when prices fall, they are also unwilling to sell because that would mean a loss. At the same time, they are reluctant to buy more because they think it might drop further, which is very contradictory.
