Are you going to build an emulator ? To emulate a Z80 processor still requires a lot of instructions like registers, flags, address modesโ€ฆ cycle timing, interrupts, rom, ram, i/o im still building my emulator in c++ uses CLI ๐Ÿ˜†

I don't know how to program myself, therefore I am going to be using a program called "Retro Pie" which is perfect for all Raspberry pi models, and can emulate almost any old consoles up to the PlayStation 1. I've read it can even run "ScummVM" which means my console might be able to run Monkey Island and other legendary games. I'm impressed that you know programming, and furthermore, that you are making your own emulator from scratch ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

That sounds like an awesome project. RetroPie is definitely great choice for running ranges of classical games. As for building an emulator, its definitely a challenge, but its a lot of fun diving into how these older system (internal processing) components interact. If you ever get curious about the technical side of emulation, feel free to ask i'd be happy to share what i learned :P
