Which qs would you ask to assess a candidate’s commitment and likelihood to stick around when things get tough for a prolonged period of time? 🙏

look for questions on retrospectives about tough situations in the past, allowing them to talk through them in detail. look for signals: how they handled it, how they worked with others, what were the circumstances, etc. never ask “what would you do?”, it’s wishful thinking. on the flip side, make sure that people you hire have an incentive to stay in prolonged tough situations.
