I find this cost structure very hard to believe no fixed costs and no r&d?

They state it removes fixed cost by 9% and in bottom right they say fix costs remain <1% Maybe the above is true for launch phase I would too expect the unit economics to change over time

Interesting. Can you share a link? Generally speaking, outsourcing usually is all about removing fixed costs , by paying per use with a markup. So taking a company to a protocol should follow the same logic
