Do you agree with the idea that if you act well, things will be good, and if you act badly, things will be bad?

I'm going to try it a little differently today and not share my own thoughts until later so as not to influence the critical thinking of anyone else.

I don’t agree. Sometimes the “bad” people(bad being quoted because what is bad or what is good is subjective to every individual) seem to win. And sometimes the people that act well seem to have things end up badly win. 
I know we all talk about karma but sometimes karma just doesn’t work. 
I find that accepting that even your good acts can go unrewarded still shouldn’t stop you from acting well. 
This is where having a personal moral conduct comes in and this is what will guide you in making the decisions or the good or bad acts you have to take.
