I'm told it's great for tourism (which we already are a tourist city with Ruby Falls, Rock City, etc.) And increases cash flow for businesses which is good but     /how/ good is it really?

I bet they don’t spend much money. But it’s all empirical; someone did a study and the running lobby probably buried the truth.

I mean, i trust our mayor. I worked for him years before he was and even have his personal number. Not sure exactly how it all works like if iron man pays them to do it.
