What happened with the $Prompt claims:
1οΈβ£ On April 10, 2025, a clever person used a strategy called MEV (Miner Extractable Value) to predict and claim $PROMPT tokens early from TokenTable's airdrop, which was meant for Twitter users, by figuring out the pattern of how the tokens were given out.
2οΈβ£ TokenTable paused the airdrop to fix the problem, paid back 1,781 affected users with $155,576.02 in total, including extra money for price changes and $2 each for gas fees, showing how crypto projects can act fast to protect their community.
3οΈβ£ This event teaches us that while airdrops aim to share tokens fairly, they can be tricky to manage because smart people might find loopholes, so TokenTable is now working with experts to make their system stronger against such tricks.
Kudos π to @ethsign for coming to the rescue, including @KaitoAI and @tokentable. This team is incredible.
Stay glued for the next walk, π π. 0 reply
