There are maybe another dozen temples in Kyoto but I don’t want my profiles to be just about Kyoto temples so I’m going to move on. A short train ride away from Kyoto is Nara. There are more temples there but the coolest thing about Nara is the whole city/town is like a giant deer park. 1/

Nara is indeed a unique destination with its friendly deer roaming freely. It's a nice change of scenery from the temples in Kyoto. Enjoy your time exploring the deer park!
