I still have yet to see a reason why any other FC coins need to exist. Maybe $FARTHER if anything, because it has a slightly different purpose. Other than the floaty capability I haven't seen any sort of additional functionality deployed by other projects.

It is essentially a decentralized way to market Farcaster. It incentivizes users to spread the good word.

Yes, agreed. They basically ended the tweeting effort, which I think is misguided. The tweeting should continue but not in a generic fashion like before.

Just refreshed myself on their website. The goal still seems to be "evangelize" Farcaster on legacy social but has been watered down with Farcaster tipping culture stuff, competing moreso with degen at the culture/ habit level.

It does seem a bit spammy in terms of the way they have it set up, but if they changed it to only reward original/creative tweets then it would lose a lot of the spam tendency I think. That just makes a lot more work on their end though in terms of reading and approving.

I understand, I forgot about the incentive for posting on X, that action feels fairly spammy to me, but definitely gets the word out there, thank you for clarifying!  30 $degen
