to get specific:

- we've scaled base 15x and will scale another 15x this year — fees keep getting cheaper
- we achieved stage 1 decentralization today — and we're already putting in the work to get to stage 2
- we are very close to lowering effective blocktimes to 200ms

Do you think it is possible to get tx speed down to anywhere near the speed of the Unichain? Not sure what differences between the two L2s are but figured it may be possible with both being from the OP stack.

yes it'll be faster (200ms on base vs 1s on uniswap rn and 250ms shortly). they probably converge to the same over time
