In the near term it would be a mix of the Euro and SEAN currencies. In the medium to long term I am not sure.

Good question but certainly the world looks more multipolar than at it has at anytime in the last 35 years. Trump really wants to isolate China and I don't think that is going to be a winning strategy for him.

Every day it seems like Trump wants something different (not a good messaging strategy if the goal is certainty and I’m sure confused), but our only choice is to see how it plays out Door 1: the federal deficit keeps growing exponentially, US defaults eventually and loses reserve Door 2: whatever is happening now

Certainly a default would bring about an abrupt end to both reserve currency status and treasury bills as a safe haven asset. Trump is sort of like Joe Rogan in that he agrees with the last person he spoke with. I think that is likely the explanation why he makes these seemingly chaotic pivots.
