Take anti Trump cnn articles with a grain of salt, big credibility factor. Zaslav just wrote down a lot of its Warner media debt so I wouldn’t use cnn as a source of knowing what a good business is. Whatever your bias make no mistake the Trump brand is one of America’s best.

If you expect the company to be immediately profitable with entrenched competition like Twitter and facebook and the media you’re being delusional. Having hundreds of millions of dollars on hand while your opponents in legacy tv media are losing the same amount if not more puts you in a lucrative position to make a strong acquisition. I say he makes a strong move to buy out cnn, if not the entire Warner media portfolio.

Immediately profitable? They've been around over 3 years already and they are unable to produce much revenue at all. Now you've got Trump posting on Twitter again and that eliminates the main reason people would even look to Truth Social in the first place. Yes, they've got money on hand cause of the sale of stock but it isn't cheap to run a streaming service and they have no notable content. We can revisit this next quarter when things look just as bad if not worse. Buy out CNN or Warner Media? wow, you are really reaching.

I don’t see the company being able to do much with so much stiff competition outside of an aggressive buyout. I personally think cnn is a great brand and with the current economic environment is a steal of a buy. It’s not a reach at all, discovery execs are definitely reexamining their Warner bros portfolio and Trump media has the money.
