You gonna send them to an intermediary first? Or are you talking about going to Canada and buying a laptop then taking it back to the USA?

I'll believe that when I see it. There are 25% tariffs on Mexico, so idk where you're getting 5% from. Also, if the computer is above a certain price then you are supposed to pay customs/duty when you bring it into the USA.

Eh, I travel a lot and have a property outside of the US.

More specifically to this argument it will open up private enterprise who will perform intermediary services.

Americans will barely notice the difference because a 5% markup will yield a great margin for Mexico.
