The True Light
By Jhomark C Bombita
I saw the true light,
An anglerfish, in the vast ocean of darkness.
A monstrous form, dwelling in the gloom,
But in my tiny light, food is sought.
For a long time, darkness was my world,
My little light alone, guiding my journey.
But one day, a hope arose,
To see the light, to journey in the world.
Dangerous though it may be, my journey began,
To see the beauty, of the world above.
Finally, the surface I reached,
Dazzling light, touched my heart.
But my strength, slowly faded,
In the last moment, the light was witnessed.
Gratitude, for the world full of light,
After long years, in the dark ocean. 0 reply
