I’m still very curious why Trump wasn’t launch on /Base instead of SOL, that’s very telling IMO, I’m guessing it’s the network effect sol dominate this bull cycle, it seems like anything eth these days is purely ideological, what gives!? How can builders be successful without liquidity, so many L2s competing over the liquidity, it’s not growing, marely rotating from one L2 to another, looking at the level of growth sol ecosystem made both in liquidity and users is phenomenal.

Base is centralised and not decentralised, the same reason for Farcaster which is connected to coinbase again not centralised.

Interesting, narrative I guess. Imagine the exposure and growth the /base and /coinbase ecosystem would have received if Trump was launched on the base chain. Something doesn’t smell right.

It's simple coinbase have a stock that trades on WS, in dollars. I also did not know or thought of that about /base but since I have learnt this from space on X, and by big Web3 early users, who left FC. Later I dig in and came to know that FC's only purpose is to increase base users and grow base. People in Web3 did not like this concept and that's the reason why people left FC. So the organisation is actually web2 but pretending to be Web3. FC should have been independent and for all chains alike but it's hard to fool people, because people are really smart. This is the same reason memecoins on base usually pump & dump, less volume etc.
