Ethereum is at a pivotal moment in its history. Some see its diversity and competing priorities as bugs—problems to be solved through greater centralization, alignment, and coordination. But it's missing the point. Ethereum's richness and heterogeneity isn't a bug—it's Ethereum's greatest feature. The freedom to innovate, compete, and pursue many visions is exactly what makes Ethereum powerful. We don't need more of a push top down. We need more bottom up collaboration with a boost from EF for things that work. It isn't about technical research or scaling debates. It's about remembering what Ethereum stands for: freedom, permissionless innovation, and empowering and uplifting communities—and amplifying the solutions they're building to change the system and create real impact.
