My mom is big on gold. last year, i asked her what she wants for her birthday and if she would invest in Eth instead as a bday gift because it was trading at similar 2.5k range,

she asked: buy me gold jewelry of XXXXX USD.

I didnt say no. I bought her that and used same amount of USD to buy Eth for myself.

gold is up 15% from the start of this year and 50% from the time she got.

Today she is in more profit on her investment than me.
