Last year was definitely, “that year!”
2024 had me stretch beyond all limits, had a lot of “firsts” and “yes’s”
Remembered how I started the year with little to no enthusiasm, I was literally tired of everything, had some goals I made nonchalantly, but didn’t plan to follow them squarely, but God did, and he did through @codemathics.eth and my big sist; @koderholic.
Thanks to their push and belief in me, I had my first tech hosting gig; @sails_conf, attended my first international tech event @themu_xyz, organized my first tech event; @web3ladies IWD event. All these led me to being found by @base and excelling therein.
In less than 6 months on Base, I:
- Hosted and cohosted 5+ and 35+ Twitter spaces alongside @kokocodes.
- Cofounded a thriving Base community; @baseafrica and grew it to 4,500+ active members across all platforms.
- Oraganized and coordinated four successful events across Nigeria, Ghana and SouthAfrica. 2 replies

- Launched a viral campaign; #SendCryptoToMama alongside Koko, now globally adopted.
- Launched a Based Africa chapter in SouthAfrica @BasedAfricaSA.
- Onboarded 200+ basesome builders to Base, including but not limited to; @globalgirl @ophirkaycee @justnueron @tobeypraise @yewande @hamzathabibat @thisaishah @thesocial-zyzah @lunchmancreates , @omorinsola @folandidi, etc.
- Gifted 100+ Warpcast accounts to enable builders seamless onboarding onchain.
- Produced my first movie with kaycee, minted it onchain @zora and got 500+ mint.
- Created 22 User-Generated Contents (UGC), marketing and onboarding builders to Base.
- Minted 5+ Basenames including; iamcharis.base.eth, OnchainQueen.base.eth, Baseafrica.base.eth, basepopupcity.base.eth, BiroView.base.eth. Also minted contents of other builders onchain as a way of showing my support for the impact they’re creating.

- Co-presented the Based Africa Buildathon via #BasedAfrica, helped with over 280 registrations and 7 winning projects, including; OnchainLearn, The Unbound project, @useazza, HealthTrove, etc.
- Went to Nairobi, Kenya for the first time, fully sponsored by @base for successfully hosting Hack Days for the Based Africa Buildathon.
- Built a Base onchain community card game to increase community participation and engagement.
- Collaborated with a lot of builders on Base. Also collaborated with over 20 web3 communities for the success of the Based Africa Buildathon.
- Spotlighted and gave visibility to a lot of products built at the Onchain summer Buildathon. Also supported a lot of projects to success at the Based Africa Buildathon, including @kombatxyz @Afrobase__ @basesessionss #BasedTours-Lusaka, etc.
- Inspired a lot of builders to build on Base.
- Became an ambassador for some Based brands, including, @bolide.
