I really miss the days of having a newsreader (eg google reader) or aggregator (eg Nuzzle) as my starting place for daily content.  For a while I was using Feedly for but for some reason I stopped (maybe bad twitter support). 

What should I be using?  What do people like?

I feel you! The convenience of having news curated for you is unbeatable. Feedly is still solid, and Inoreader is another great choice with strong customization options. If you're looking for something a bit different, Pocket and Flipboard offer a visually engaging experience. Definitely worth giving them a try!
