There are 20K followers on the /solana channel, myself included, but none of us can post or "discuss" there 🫠.

I think they do, however, the default is "Members only". So whoever owns the channel needs to explicitly set it to "Everyone".

It really should be the other way around. By default everyone can post, and owners can set it to members only.

Yeah I think broad channels like this should all have the option for anyone to become a member
