What's something someone 20yo and younger won't understand about the world in the 90s? When I was kid, you could wait for your family/friends at the airport gate. Not in the airport lobby, right at the gate. People could also come with you all the way to the gate to see you off.

If you called someone about an event or to hang out and they didn’t answer, they just didn’t come. We paid a lot of money to rent VCR tapes that still needed to be rewound. There were fireflies.

Very disturbed to suddenly realize that I haven’t seen a firefly since I was a kid. And I do go outside frequently to touch grass 😟
