One of my closest friends committed suicide last week, I was devastated

I don’t have anything profound to say, but I’ll say this — he would’ve likely been shocked at the outpouring of love at his funeral

So if anyone reading this ever gets in that headspace, know ppl care far more that day to day live reveals

Planning to get involved in suicide prevention if anyone can point me in the right direction

I'm so sorry to hear your news, the same week another friend lost their brother in the same way. I am glad the funeral had so much love.
I think suicide prevention starts at helping men in particular (3-5x more males take their lives) be ok with vulnerability and seeking help. That is where the real work is needed.
