I always wish my Remarkable was better than it is and then end up going back to my iPad Mini. Feel like this device is best for academics who read a lot of journal articles or journalists who read a lot of media.

What about high-refresh, e-ink monitors though? It seems like the market demand isn't enough to prioritize their manufacture, yet it's one of the few accessories I really, REALLY want. Am I alone in dreaming about not looking at backlit screen all day when doing writing / reading based work?

Screen sharing is an underutilized feature. Check out the remarkable template builders as well, awesome-remarkable is a good resource if you’re looking to hack it https://github.com/reHackable/awesome-reMarkable

reMarkable is awesome! I have the Series 1, bought it 2 years ago and works like a charm. Amazing for planning & ideating + taking notes, combining hand-writing + cloud storage and sharing notes across devices is great
