In the same way Travis and Uber, not MAAD, effectively ended drunk driving — Elon and Starlink will connect the farthest reaches of the globe Yet the non-profits, NGOs, and govt try to solve these problems hate both Travis and Elon despite the latter solving them. Why? Bc these ppl deal in power, not solutions

This is a critical point to understand the world today And entire class of people leverage existing problems in the world to accumulate personal power They have no interest in solving the problems they are "working on". Why? Bc solving the problem would put them out of a job, and they'd lose power

So many organizations in DC were founded with the goal of solving a problem, and then when it got solved (in the past the govt sometimes, now just the market) they simple changed the definition of the problem or success criteria in order to continue their justification of existence
