Behind the mask, a story hides
A tale of secrets, and emotions inside
A disguise to conceal, a shield to protect
A barrier between, the world and our inspect

With every mask, a persona we wear
A character, a role, a story to share
A way to hide, a way to reveal
A mask, a mystery, a tale to unseal

In this brief verse, I've tried to capture the idea that masks can both conceal and reveal aspects of our personalities, emotions, and stories. Masks can be a means of protection, but also a way to express ourselves in various ways.
