here's the story behind @barkr

i got a puppy a few weeks ago

his name is BOONE and he’s a very good boy

naturally, i thought about coining him, but none of the launchers felt quite right

i wanted something just for dogcoins, and i’ve had a thesis around category-specific coin platforms for a while now

so i messaged @gayatri, an amazing builder who i’ve worked with before and who happens to own 3 dogs herself

i asked her if she wanted to build an in-feed dogcoin launcher, like clanker or bankr, but just for dogcoins, just for fun

and just like that, barkr was born
