I believe in Ricc's return to form, so we'll see what he can achieve the rest of the year. Yuki to me should have been the odd man out in '24, or at least demoted to reserve. Sargent and Stroll are just dragging. Haas combo is a moot point. 😂

This is why you have to appreciate 2016 Hamilton vs. Rosberg or even Hamilton vs. Bottas as the most recent true teammate battles. Even Max vs. Ricc was interesting. Point being, Perez has disappointed in Quali and botches races all too often.

Perhaps, perhaps, but Sainz was spicy on 4 lap fresher tires. Tough to see what could have ultimately happened, but I certainly agree, the team did not handle that well.

Quite an impressive car this RB19 is. I've seen many dominant cars over the years, but with Max behind the wheel, it's a profilic unstoppable combo.

Yes and No imo, with the expected tire degradation, him forcing the call for a one stop proved to be the wrong call considering no other car attempted that tire strategy.

I would love to see McLaren or Merc win, but even if Max gets swamped at the start by two or three cars, the RB19 is simply superior and he's in the fast zone right now, still wins, albeit with a bit more effort. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No sense in RB going out on fresh tires, Max set that time on used Softs. Even if track is evolving, you're better off saving tires for tomorrow, but who knows.

These McLarens are certainly fast. Don't think either get on Pole, but off the line tomorrow, along with tire strategy, they can pressure RB for a less than cruising win for Max.

Max on Pole. Beyond that, who knows. Surprised to see the small gap Max vs. Lando in FP3 and Perez continuing to struggle. An exciting challenge for P2 on the grid. Beautiful in Suzuka today, tailwind into Turn 1 & 130R today, opposite tomorrow.

Watched all of FP2, couldn't agree more with Ham. Back to regularly scheduled programming for RB this weekend. Reportedly, RB were running a new floor on Max's car, so it explains the big gap to Perez. Some wind direction changes and slight temperature variations, dry weekend ahead, RB wins... unless opening lap crash.
