Social media does a lot to the brain, and since most of the companies that dictate the way most voters in the hegemonic country think, feel, & vote are in the s&p 500, we're not likely going to see radical changes to their business models before the end of capitalism or modern civilization. So instead maybe we'll get feeds partially influenced by the lowest common denominator of two or more people's interests? Someone will try it, and market it as a partner bonding thing until someone accidentally or deliberately introduces porn into the feed. Then there will be a lot of awkward, but elucidating conversations, and people will probably go back to solo doom/dopamine-scrolling!
