The Base blockchain has announced its roadmap for this year, aiming to attract 25,000 developers, 25 million users, and reach $100 billion in on-chain assets. This is a positive step for Base, but according to @beaniemaxi, Coinbase may be a key factor in the continuous selling pressure on ETH. Coinbase generates significant ETH fees from the Base protocol but doesn't hold onto the ETH, instead selling it all to convert it into cash.
