So I’m new to collecting graded cards. Curious on people’s opinions, is it worth buying non 10 rated cards? I’ve seen a bunch of 1st edition holos that are 9’s and 8’s. I am buying them cause I like them and plan to keep them but I’m also thinking of potential in 10-20 years.

Yeah I’m trying to mix,nostalgia with potential future value 😅.

Personally, if it’s nostalgic for me I don’t care about grades. I believe preservation is extremely important and slabs are really fun to collect. If you have some grails then I would say go for those high grades. Enjoy 🫶

For me 9 or 10, 

6-8 If it really high tier card, like gold star or Charizard baseset
