A reminder of the privacy concerns I had before. I ignored it before for the family connections I have on the app. But I’m being hypocritical advocating for privacy in web3 if I continue to use that app well aware of the blatant privacy issues.

Ah gotcha! Since you read into it, I’m curious if anything in the Threads privacy policy was dramatically different from privacy policies at YouTube or Gmail or Apple services etc.

they literally just sold all private customer info to squarespace without anyone explicit consent so that's already a good indicator on how horrible their policy are
