Gm fam! A few thoughts/updates: 1. Designing an allowance system based on FC usage is hard, because the bots and farmers are an ever-evolving challenge. 2. We are going to keep iterating and improving it, so expect ongoing change. 3. But if you want a surefire allowance, just support artists by collecting art on SuperRare. This is the simplest and most highly weighted activity, and less subject to change because the farming problems are not as crazy. 4. FC itself is also iterating rapidly on different approaches to bots and farming, highlighting what a challenge this is. As the ecosystem evolves, we'll continue to try to cut through the BS and make the system better for us creative humans. Thank you for the patience and feedback, keep it coming ✌️

Hi Jon, here some comments I hope it can help for the common good. Some of my friends, SR artists and collectors are having trouble catching up with the new algo, their allos suddenly fell bad. What if someone has the SR OG POAP and their allo is always at least 15? It's discouraging to only have 2 🥲.

My RARE allowance is zero currently. In a time when people are feeling overwhelmed by having too many tipping allowances, you are missing the mark on however you’ve decided to determine current RARE allocations. You are encouraging incredible art patrons, collectors, and artists that decided to give the SuperRare ecosystem a closer look, one more reason to continue to pursue alternatives. A simple and effective measure to solve the problem of tip spam with Rare: define a minimum value of 1 Rare for tips (include this on the rules in SR site) and disregard tips below this value 😉

In my opinion, you should set a minimum daily tip amount, such as 1 RARE for example , so that anything less is not counted in daily calculations. Additionally, artists who have minted or sold art in SuperRare can have a better advantage It’s obvious that people trying here to have more RARE even by farming, I think its their choice and their time ! So SuperRare itself should arrange new rules Many thanks ❤️🙏🏻

Gm dear! I’m a small artist, not a bot and no farmer. Me and many others bought 2500 rare to get allowance to support artists and many of us would love to but cannot afford to collect art on SR… If I may suggest there are simpler ways to reduce bot activity, for example minimum tipping of 5 or so.
