1/ We created @superrare because we thought that art was a cool and interesting market. But the way the old industry worked seemed antiquated, opaque, and not fun enough. All other forms of media, and most markets, had been revolutionized by the web, so why not art?

2/ Anyone who's grown up with the internet can't deny that it has multiplied the net creative output of humanity. And the advent of the NFT made digital art collectible for the first time at scale, providing the final necessary lego block for a purely internet-native art market.

3/ Exactly what will, and should, this new internet-native art market look like? I don't have all the answers, but I do know that it'll be built on experimentation, the breaking of rules, and the input of the artists and collectors that make it up.
