I’m fairly confident that SVB will be acquired in the next couple days; it’s too vital to fail and I’m sure govmt is pushing the banks very hard to get a deal done vs a bailout 

My bet is on Goldman

Why is it bad for the fed if svb fails? Wouldn’t it ease inflation, hurt crypto industry, and encourage more financial control?

Huge funds like a16z and sequoia have billions at svb. If they lose funds, their LP’s lose funds, massive spillover effect 

And startups who lose funds impacts jobs and consumer sentiment and Biden admin will try to avoid that

You’re probably right, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see an attempt to spin it as letting rich tech bros take the L
